Jens Christy

Jens Christy is an Associate Pastor and has been involved in the activities of Capo Beach Calvary for the past 27 years. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelors Degree in English and returned to school in 2007 to obtain certificates in Drug and Alcohol Studies and Mental Health. Jens is a certified drug and alcohol counselor and it is his desire to see those who are trapped in the consequences of choices influenced by the uncontrolled use of alcohol and other drugs come to terms with reality.

One in four children is in a home where there is substance abuse. The statistics speak for themselves and children are the victims of dysfunctional families and broken homes because of addiction.

This is not God�s plan for our quality of life, but getting past the stage of denial to admission is not something the can be accomplished without God�s help and a desire to be healthy.

�Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body.� 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
