Dan Russell

Dan Russell is an associate pastor at Capo Beach Calvary. His calling and heartfelt mission is to build strong Christ centered marriages. Dan’s ministry is characterized by his love for God and the love God has given him for His people. Dan has a passion for building strong marriages through Prayer, God’s Word and Marriage Education. (M.E.) He teaches both premarital and marriage education classes.

His goal is to equip and encourage couples in their faith, prayer life, their relationship with our Lord and with each other. Dan’s approach to marriage education teaches couples the information and skills they need to communicate clearly and resolve conflict. It also provides a roadmap for normal expected challenges and the necessary tools to make adjustments that will build strong marriages and help couples keep their love alive.

Dan has served in various ministry positions since 1997. Part of Dan’s training and service, includes, Family Life Couples Series, a division of Campus Crusade for Christ, Marriage Mentoring, in association with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), Marriage Built to Last, Making Marriages Work, Military Outreach Ministry (MOM), The National Association of Marriage Enhancement (NAME) and the California Healthy Marriage Coalition (CHMC)

He has been happily married to his best friend and ministry partner since 1974. Having placed God at the center of his marriage and applying God’s principles to his life, he has gained a better understanding of the love and wisdom God empowers us with to overcome obstacles and walk in the fullness of life God has promised.
